Eileen was friendly and receptive upon our arrival.
Check-in was awkward as we arrived late, and there were restrictions on food that made dining options difficult in the area. The lack of flexibility regarding outside food left us scrambling to find suitable meal options, especially considering Aberlour’s limited restaurant hours. Moreover, the room felt small and cramped, especially with our luggage, making the stay somewhat uncomfortable.

The breakfast was a highlight, featuring high-quality ingredients that left we wanting more every morning.
The restrictions on outside food made it challenging to find suitable dining options in town, especially in the evening when most places closed early.

Eileen's breakfast was fantastic with local ingredients.

missingWrote a review on 14 Novrestrictive policies
Strict check-in time of 5 PM feels limiting, especially after a long day. The rules against food in the rooms, including takeaways, make meal planning a hassle. Breakfast needs to be coordinated across guests, which might not align with your schedule, and locked windows in the room prevent any fresh air from coming in.

A couple's cozy getaway
We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, and you know what, their attention to detail was excellent. Eileen even quietly let us in after our late arrival, giving us a brief tour and making us feel right at home!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but considering the quality, I felt it was acceptable.

Staying for 2 nights, the warm welcome from the hosts was a highlight. The room was spotless, and the cozy decor made it feel inviting. Breakfast was a delight, featuring fresh ingredients, and Jim even accommodated our motorcycles in his garage, which was a thoughtful touch. However, I found the restrictions on outside food a bit limiting, and while the central location was convenient, it could get noisy at times, especially in the mornings. I appreciate the effort to make every guest feel special to a degree that deserves recognition.
